1. How are the wooden boats made and what are the main components?

The wooden boats of Nain Trading are handmade in plank construction from precious wooden materials. Canadian cedar wood, rosewood and other precious woods are used.

2. To what extent are the boat data and illustrations realistic?

All information about our boats in the online shop have been created to the best of our knowledge. All sizes have been carefully measured by us and should have at most minor deviations. The weight is also determined again with a special scale. The pictures are taken at our location with an excellent reflex camera and reflect the colors and details of the models very well. Of course, the colors may differ from reality depending on the brightness and contrast settings of your screen.

3. Can I test drive the boat before buying?

You are welcome to visit our boats in Hamburg and take a test drive. To make an appointment for a test drive, please contact us at least one day in advance.

4. Why should I buy my wooden boats from Nain Trading?

Nain Trading has many years of experience in the distribution of various boats. We have a good assortment of different wooden boats of the highest quality and stand with our name for good and personal advice. In addition we offer a multiplicity at payment possibilities, safe dispatch within the European Union and a return right. Also you have with us, in comparison to most on-line dealers, the possibility your dream boat before the purchase to inspect.
Our highest goal is the satisfaction of our customers by lifelike, high-quality wooden boats in connection with excellent service.

5. When and where can I view the wooden boats before buying?

If you have found a suitable boat in our assortment, you are welcome to have a look at it personally in our showroom in Hamburg before you buy it. If you like the boat, you can also take it with you.
Please let us know the article number at least 48 hours in advance so that we can provide you with the appropriate boat. Appointments can be made daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. by calling 0049 / 40 326634 or by sending an e-mail to info@naintrading.com

Questions about order and payment

6. How does the order process work at nain-boats.com?

If you have found a suitable boat in our online shop, then you can put it directly into the virtual shopping basket. Your view will now automatically change to your shopping cart and show you the selected product. You can now use the “Continue shopping” button to look for other boats or the “Checkout” button to carry out the next step of your order. If you are a new customer, you can create a new customer account under “New customer”. As a returning customer you can enter your email address and password for Nain Trading under “Already customer” and your saved data will be transferred.
As a new customer, enter the required data in the following window and click on “Continue” at the bottom of the page.
In the next step you will see your shipping address again and can change it again if necessary. You can also view any shipping costs here. Go to “Continue”.
In the following window you can select the method of payment, by selecting the box behind your desired payment method. Under you can also write a comment to your order in a blank text field. Go again to “Next”.
Now you will receive a complete overview of your order and can send it to us by clicking on “Confirm order”.

7. Where can I view my orders?

If you would like to review your orders again, first log in to nain-boats.com with your customer account. You can do this either via the left navigation bar under “Your account / Log in” or in the upper bar under “Your account” log in.
After the registration you can view your previous orders at Nain Trading under “My orders”.

8. How can I cancel or change an order if necessary?

If you would like to cancel an order that has already been placed, please contact us either by telephone at +49 04 – 326634 or by email at info@naintrading.com
We will then cancel your order.

9. What payment methods does Nain Trading accept?

We accept a large number of payment procedures. You can traditionally pay in advance by bank transfer, cash on delivery and cash on collection. We offer the following payment methods: PayPal, American Express, Visa, Mastercard, purchase on account and installment purchase with Klarna.

10. How secure are these payment procedures?

We use the latest security standards for our online shop at all times so that your data is particularly secure with us. We use the security standard SSL (Secure Socket Layer) for data transmissions, whereby your personal data is protected at all times against access by unauthorized third parties. This procedure is also used by the major financial service providers. Credit card information is protected by Nain Trading using 3D Secure technology.

11. Is it also possible for me to finance my wooden boat at nain-boats.com?

We offer you a financing option with our financial partner Klarna, a purchase on installments. You will then receive the goods first and can pay the Klarna invoice in flexible installments or pay the total amount at any time. Further information about Klarna’s financing service can be found here.

Shipping, Delivery and Returns

12. What does shipping cost me?

The shipping costs for the boats depend strongly on their size and the destination of the shipment. You can find detailed information on the transport costs for all countries under the heading Payment method & terms of delivery.

13. How long will the delivery of my boat take?

Usually delivery within the EU and EU-related countries takes 2 to 7 working days. Outside the EU, however, it may take considerably longer.

14. Where can I view my order and shipping status?

After successful completion of the order process you will receive an order confirmation via email. If your order has been shipped by us, you will receive another email as confirmation of shipment. In this email you will find further information about shipping and tracking.

15. What do I have to consider if I want to order to Switzerland or another country outside the EU?

If you order to Switzerland or a non-EU country and shop in our online shop, you pay only the net price. The shipping address of your delivery is decisive. Further information can be found here.

16. I don't like the boat, can I give it back?

You can return any boat purchased from us within 14 days if you do not like it. You will find more detailed information on the legal right of withdrawal under our heading “Refund Policy“.

17. What has to be considered with a return?

If you wish to return a boat to us, please use our shipping carton again so that the boat is not damaged. Returns will be sent to the following address:

18. Who is responsible for the shipping costs in case of a return?

19. My boat was damaged on delivery, what now?

In the rare event that the boat has been damaged during delivery, please notify the carrier of any damage immediately upon delivery. Then please inform us directly under +49 40 – 326634 or info@naintrading.com. We will then discuss the next steps with you.

Security and privacy

20. What happens to my personal data and what is it used for?

Your data will be kept safe at Nain Trading and will not be passed on to unauthorized third parties or misused for advertising purposes. An exception is the newsletter, which you can only receive with prior consent and then cancel at any time.
We need your registration data only for the smooth processing of the order, delivery and for any queries.
Personal data will only be forwarded to the relevant logistics or financial service providers in connection with delivery or payment using state-of-the-art encryption technology.
